Church Flowers

This is a belated thank you to all who helped with the "Wedding" flowers for the Scarecrow Weekend.

Lilian of course was behind it all, but thanks also go to those helpers who ventured all the way up to Birmingham flower market at some unearthly hour to obtain beautiful flowers and then spent hours conditioning them so that they would last throughout the festival (which they did, and two more weeks besides).

I would also like to say thank you to Ann Hale, Eve Whaley and Janet Gardner, who nobly removed them all when the Church was needed for a wedding proper.

This site is maintained by villagers of Oxhill for the benefit of the community and those interested in the history, news and activities that make the village such a pleasant place to live.
