New Churchwarden in Tysoe

Following a meeting on Sunday, 10th July, Jill Longbottom has been elected churchwarden of Tysoe in succession to Mim Kitchen.  Jill was elected unanimously and unopposed.  One spontaneous comment made on the day was, ‘Mim would be very pleased!’  Jill has served as PCC Secretary for 17 years and on the committees of many other organisations.  In addition to her other skills she will bring to the job a wide experience of many different facets of Tysoe village life.  It’s worth noting that churchwardens have powers of arrest on church land so make sure you always speak nicely to her and Geoff Mean!
