Last Chance to see Van Gogh

Due to the popularity of Van Gogh and Britain: Pioneer Collectors at Compton Verney, the gallery is opening late on weekends, until the exhibition closes on 18 June. On 27, 28 and 29 May (bank holiday Monday) and 3, 4, 10, 11 June the gallery is open from 10am – 6pm, and on 17 and 18 June from 10am – 9pm.

Van Gogh and Britain: Pioneer Collectors has been the gallery’s most successful exhibition to date, attracting up to 900 visitors a day. It has been consistently listed as one of the best exhibitions to see in all national press since its opening in March.

During the late weekend openings the gallery café will be open as a tapas bar, offering an opportunity to see the exhibition and socialise in a particularly unique environment.

In addition, Oleanders in the Hall from 27 May – 4 June, is a drop-in workshop, which offers an opportunity for families to collaborate on a giant mural based on Van Gogh’s Oleanders. This painting has been loaned from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York and is included in the exhibition at Compton Verney.
