2001: A Space Odyssey There will be an outdoor screening of Stanley Kubrick’s epic film at Compton Verney on Saturday 2nd September, starting at 8 p.m. The screening is to complement the current exhibition there, The Starry Messenger: Visions of the Universe. The galleries at Compton Verney will remain open until 7 p.m. offering an opportunity to see the current exhibition before viewing the film. The café will also remain open until 8 p.m., with last orders at 7 p.m. Ticket prices for 2001: A Space Odyssey are £5, concessions £3.50 and can be purchased in advance by calling 01926 645500.
