Notes of the Annual Parish Council Meeting Held on Tuesday 12th May 2009 at 8.00p.m. in the Village HAll All Councillors were present. Election of Officers David Hill was voted to continue as Chairman, and Tom Heritage to continue as Vice Chairman. Grenville Moore was welcomed as a member of the Parish Council and duly signed his Acceptance of Office. Declaration of Financial and other Interests documents were signed by all Councillors Matters Discussed Annual Parish Meeting held on 7th April Only two people attend this meeting and there were no matter arising. Finance Accounts and Receipts & Payments Book for year ended 31 March 2009 was signed by the Chairman. Annual Return for audit for this period was presented with Bank Reconciliation, Notes to the Account and Variation to the Accounts and signed by the Chairman and Clerk. The Annual Governance Statement was also approved and signed. Accounts can be view at the Clerk’s home during June. A £150 honorarium, (including expenses) was accepted by the Clerk for the year ended 31 March 2009. Mandatory insurance cover of £317.03 would be paid. £345.71 had been paid to the Village Hall towards the cost of tiling the kitchen. 60% of the cost had been granted by Stratford District Council. Highways The Highways Department would be asked to fill in pot holes at the junction by the Village Hall. NHS Oxfordshire The Better Healthcare Programme for Horton Hospital is continually being updated. Their website is: www.oxfordshirepct.nhs.uk/news/horton-hospital Parish Biodiversity Action Plan Grenville reported on the steering group meeting he had attended and will be doing a separate write-up in the Oxhill News. Community Supported Agriculture Scheme This initiative from Tysoe was discussed. The Parish Council could support such a scheme but have asked for more information on how exactly it will work in practice.
