First Responders

I would like to firstly give you some details of who we are; a group of ladies that play darts every Wednesday. We are known as the Tysoe Social Club Ladies Darts Team and we play in the Shipston on Stour Ladies Darts League.

On one of these Wednesdays the League runs a singles competition, known as the Charity Shield. All ladies playing have to pay £1 to play and all the teams donate raffle prizes; the winner of the Competition chooses who they would like the money raised at the next Charity Shield to be donated to.

During the winter league one of our Tysoe Ladies, Karen Lynnes, won and she has chosen the Ambulance First Responders in Oxhill to receive the money raised. This was held on July 1st and the Shipston League raised £86.

The Shipston Darts League would like to invite Mick and Barbara Shepherd to attend our Presentation Night on Saturday 17th October, 8 p.m. at the Coach & Horses to present the trophies to the various winners and to also collect the donation.

All are welcome to come along on this evening, which consists of presentation and a Disco. If you are interested in joining the Team details can be found at Tysoe Social Club.

Thank you to the work and dedication that Mick and Barbara give to us in being Ambulance First Responders. It is a reassurance that they are close by if I was ever to need them.
