Vicarage Notes Dear friends, The power of “e-bay” reaches into the Vicarage nowadays, and I was delighted to buy for £15 a fine 1901 desk size Book of Common Prayer. It was presented in that year to Daisy Barnet of St. Peter’s School Worcester for coming 1st in the Diocesan R.E. exam. Sadly, it was hardly used, so I am pleased that it will have a revived life! Mind you, it’s no good having beliefs if they’re not put to work, and the task of the Easter people is to present a living faith to the world! My thanks to all who have taken on a new term of responsibility as members of St. Lawrence’s P.C.C. and to all who support the church through the year. God bless, Nicholas Morgan 01608 685230 |
