Boo Hewerdine
On Friday, 10th June, 60 people were enthralled by Boo
Hewerdine’s performance at Oxhill Village Hall. Boo took his audience on a
roller-coaster ride from ‘rock’ heights to mellow folk ballads; from upbeat
tunes to soulful songs – a true master-class in entertainment that few of
those present will forget. Boo was assisted on a few of his songs with some
virtuoso tambourine performances from Andy MacDonald, who was that good that
he was promptly invited to join Boo’s tour. A great evening with many
thanks to Pat Crowther who made it happen in Oxhill.
