Gardening Club

Our Garden Party in June was again another successful gathering of the clan. Plenty of excellent food and wine certainly helped to cheer us on. Although the clouds loomed and it was not the hottest of evenings we still managed the event outside and with the aid of two log burning fires, everyone was more than warm enough and they added a charm to the evening. The skittles enclosure also provided a little entertainment for those willing to show off their skills. A big thank you to the Hedleys for the use of their back garden for this annual event.

Our summer visits in July and August are now arranged but by September we will be back to the Thursday evening meetings, the first of which is "The archaeology and history of Tysoe" by Kevin Wyles - perhaps we all still have a lot to learn!
