Scarecrow Weekend

The Parochial Church Council would like to thank everyone who helped with the Scarecrow Festival weekend. Special thanks go to all the villagers who made Scarecrows; without them we could not do it.

There were so many and all very different. Visitors do appreciate the choice and variety to be seen around the village. We had some visitors all the way from Westerham in Kent who were very impressed. They would like to do something similar themselves but appreciated that hard work on the part of the residents who make the scarecrows is the key issue. Thanks must go to Lilian who always comes up trumps and with the help of her family made all the scarecrows in the Church and at the entrances to the village.
