Village Hall Events

Weather permitting, we will be having a BBQ based ‘Friday Night’ event, starting at 7.30pm at a cost of £8 per person. However, if you are going to help significantly with the maintenance tasks on the following day, there are a few ‘concessionary’ tickets available. More details to follow, closer to the date.

Village Hall Maintenance Day – Saturday, 11 August

We are having our annual Village Hall Maintenance day on Saturday, 11 August starting at 11.00am – volunteers with many or few DIY skills will be welcome.

An Italian journey – Saturday, 29 September

A new take on an old favourite – meet in the Village Hall for a glass or two of prosecco and then off to various houses throughout the village for some interesting Italian dishes and then on again to another couple of destinations for more varieties of super Italian food before returning to the Village Hall for Coffee & Liqueurs.

For the Italian ‘traveller’ you get to meet different people, see different houses and taste different delicacies and for the hosts you have all the fun of welcoming people into your home but without the stress of preparing and cooking a main course to a tight schedule. More details to follow but put the date in your diary NOW!
