Vicarage Notes

My thanks to all who have supported St. Lawrence’s over the past year! At the AGM Carol Fox and Charles MacCall were re-elected churchwardens. Members of the PCC were also re-elected although Diane Harper retired as electoral roll officer. We thank her for doing this job for many years, and welcomed Doug Nethercleft as the new ERO. Special mention was made of the fine new frontals worked by Sue Hunt – these have been made in memory of Mrs Eve Whaley. We look forward to the coming year of working and worshipping together!

Restoration Project

Still quiet at the preliminary stage, with the Bat survey and conservators report put in hand and awaited. The architect will shortly be undertaking a more detailed inspection of the roof as he prepares the specification – hopefully in good weather next month. In the meantime we look forward to the planned fund raisers.
