Notes of the Oxhill Parish Council
Meeting
Tuesday
17th September 2013 at 8.00pm in the
Village Hall The meeting, chaired by Grenville Moore, was attended by Parish Councillors Carol Taylor, and Brian Badger. Apologies were received from Tom Heritage and David Hill. Matters Discussed Planning Application for proposed residential development for up to 6 dwellings on land to the rear of “Stablecroft” has been refused. Planning permission has been granted for demolition of existing dwelling and erection of replacement at “Ferndale, and demolition of existing dwelling at “The Maples” and erection of replacement. Demolition of existing outbuildings at “Ripplesdale” and erection of new dwelling is also granted. Erection of Managers dwelling at Church Farm associated with operation of intensive sheep housing has been withdrawn. Application to remove two Fir trees at “Barnside” was returned with no objection. Application for single storey side extension with roof space at Clermont, Church Farm was returned with no objection. Application for proposed two storey side extension and single storey lean-to 3 Peacock Cottages was returned with concern re render finish and close proximity to “Elmville”. Finance The audited Annual Return for the year ended 31 March 2013 has been received with no fee payable. Notice of Conclusion of Audit will be posted as required. Highways Pot holes need attention on Main Street by Back Lane and also on Whitehill. Parish Council Elections Stratford District Council in accordance with Section 53 of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 makes an Order changing the ordinary election dates of Parish Councils within the District to coincide with District ward elections. This means that Oxhill will have the term of their current councillors extended by one year to 2015 and every four years thereafter.
