Stour Singers - Choral Music in the Community Stour Singers’ December 2013 concert combined Mendelssohn, Britten and solo harp music (not forgetting the opportunities for audience members to sing carols) to delightful effect, and Richard Emms is now introducing the choir to Brahms’ beautiful German Requiem, written in the 1860s, to be performed (sung in English) at St. Edmund’s Church in Shipston on 10th May. It has been encouraging to welcome new members to the choir this January – and Stour Singers is open to all who simply enjoy making music together.
