Host Families

Host families are required for secondary age French/German children visiting our area on school trips. Hosts are required to provide bed, breakfast, packed lunch, evening meal and transport to and from Shipston each day. Visits are usually 3/4 nights during the week (not weekends) and you are paid to provide the accommodation. Students are out on visits all day and usually have to be in Shipston by 8.00/8.30 and are picked up about 6.30 pm. You can choose which weeks you would like to offer accommodation but obviously the busiest time is April to September. It is not necessary to speak either French or German as these are language students who want to practice their English on you. If you would like more details please contact me.
