Notes of the Oxhill Parish Council Meeting

Tuesday 8th July 2014 at 8.00pm in the Village Hall

All Councillors were present. Grenville Moore - Chairman, Carol Taylor – Vice Chairman, Parish Councillors - David Hill, Tom Heritage and Brian Badger

Matters Discussed

Annual Parish Meeting

The item on the Parish Meeting Agenda was discussed – proposed development of The Leys Field.  No further information has been received and e-mails are being sent by Mike Collins to keep the village updated.

Planning

Permission has been granted for demolition of garage and erection of double garage/garden room at “The Old Church House”.  Permission granted for conversion of garage to form living accommodation at “Greenfields”.  Outline planning for 5 dwellings on land North side of Green Lane was supported.

Free training events for Councillors will be held to help in the role of consultee in the planning process.  Delegates will be sent to this.

Finance

Cheque for £30 was paid for completion of internal audit.

Highways

Several pot holes are in need of repair and some road surfaces in the area are breaking up.  Particularly bad is the road to Shipston and a section past Whitehill.

Also verges need to be cut back at road junctions to allow visibility of oncoming traffic.  Highways Department to be notified.
