Gladman Appeal - Oxhill Road, Tysoe Dismissed! The decision letter runs to 12 pages and the Inspector agreed with the applicant that SDC cannot demonstrate that they have that crucial 5-year housing land supply, thus bringing into effect a presumption in favour of sustainable development. He found nothing in the objectors’ arguments regarding highway safety, ecology, biodiversity or flood risk that weighed against the scheme. However he decided that the significant harm that would be caused to the setting of Tysoe Manor (a Grade II* Listed Building), and its harmful effect on the character of the local landscape outweighed the presumption in favour of the scheme, and therefore dismissed the appeal.
