Thank you so much to all those who supported the Pancake Supper on Shrove Tuesday, especially those who cooked and brought along mouth-watering trays of pancakes, sweet and savoury. We raised a wonderful total of £264 which will go off to Christian Aid to support their work with Syrian refugees, especially the children.

We will continue that theme, and to support their work, at a Lent Lunch on Monday, 15 February, at 12.30 pm, also at The Old House.  This will be a simple lunch of bread and soup: living simply so that others may simply live. Please do join us if you are able.

Before that, in the middle of Lent, comes Mothering Sunday, March 6thWe will celebrate it in Church at 9.30am that day with a special service for families of all sorts, with flowers all round, and drinks and cake afterwards.

Then on Saturday, March 19th, also with children in mind, there will be another Messy Easter in The Old Chapel between 10.00 am and 12noon.  This is for all any of the children (and their parents, grandparents etc) who would like to come and help us make an Easter Garden and display for the church, and generally explore the Easter Story.  Hopefully there will be Hot Cross Buns and drinks for all -  and anyone is welcome to pop in and see what is going on.

Finally, for those who are singing on Good Friday in Tysoe (March 25th, 7.30pm), rehearsals are on Wednesdays in March, beginning in earnest on March 2nd at 7.30pm in The Old Chapel.

Blessings, Jill
