KADS - Kineton

KADS stages Noel Coward’s sparkling comedy ‘Relative Values’

Noel Coward fans are in for a treat this spring as KADS (Kineton Amateur Dramatic Society) revives the master’s sparkling comedy of manners, ‘Relative Values.’

Hollywood star Miranda Frayle shatters the austerity of post-war Kent as she flies in to marry the Earl of Marshwood. However, she hasn’t counted on her old flame and matinee idol Don Lucas crossing the Atlantic to disrupt the proceedings and reclaim her.

Furious Miranda’s attempts to send Don packing are thwarted by the wily Countess Marshwood who, less than happy at her son’s choice of future wife, spots the ideal opportunity to put a spanner in the works. Inviting Don to stay the night at the family seat, the Countess knows that her faithful maid Moxie keeps an explosive secret which will blow Miranda’s cosy plans to smithereens…

A delightful comedy of manners which sees the old school establishment clash head on with the new world glamour of Hollywood.

Performances on 21st, 22nd & 23rd April, Kineton Village Hall.

Tickets available from Flower Thyme, Kineton or by calling Yve on 01295 680487.
