Vicarage Notes

As the church year moves onwards, we take our Easter praise into another 40 days, with the churches transformed by the spring flowers and festal colours.

A modern hymn by Brian Wren has this verse:

Christ is alive and comes to bring
Good news to this and every age,
Till earth and sky and ocean ring
With joy, with justice, love and praise.

The Church Annual Meeting Thursday April 7th 7.30pm

As well as the reports and elections, I hope to have the opportunity to look at the Diocesan 8 essential qualities questionnaire, but it will all be in a very informal atmosphere. We will, at the very least, be able to prepare for it.

St.George’s Day Service at Brailes Sat. April 23rd 6.30pm

All are very welcome to this special service – no passports required. Once again we will be welcoming friends from the Ilmington Morris. Wear your red roses and come and enjoy a loyal toast!
