Village Christmas Lunch 5th December 2016 This ever popular event will be held this year on Monday, December 5th at the Village Hall starting at 12.30pm.There will be a welcoming Prosecco, Sherry or fruit juice served on arrival and wine available throughout the meal. As usual there will be a 3 course traditional Christmas Lunch, plus Mince Pies and afterwards some entertainment. Transport to the Village Hall can be provided if needed. This Lunch is open to anyone in the Village who is 65, or over and their spouse/partner, whatever their age. Invitations will be distributed shortly BUT there is a strong likelihood that with Village demographics being what they are, we could potentially be over-subscribed! Consequently, please RSVP promptly to the invitation to avoid disappointment because we may be forced to accommodate people on a first come / first served basis as the space in the hall is limited. If you are eligible for an invitation and have not received one by mid-November, please excuse us as everyone in the Village looks so young (!) and contact me and I will rectify the oversight.
